2018 Edition

Comeback of the Innovation Awards Roullier in 2018, specifically dedicated to Plant Nutrition, after a first edition in 2001.

The Innovation Awards Roullier ceremony took place in the 28th June 2018 in the city of Saint-Malo in France. The 2 winners were rewarded with a financial grant of €60,000 each one.

The ceremony started with a very interesting plenary session from professors Heitor Cantarella (Brazil), Nicolaus Von Wirén (Germany),

Christophe Salon (France) and Michele Morgante (Italy), about their research areas.

We then announced the two winners of the competition:

  • PhD Laura Zanin, University of Udine (Italy) for her work on better nitrogen efficiency;
  • PhD Walter Wenzel, BOKU University (Austria) for his work on soil microbiology.

We would like to thank everyone involved in the Innovation Awards Roulllier 2018 edition and to congratulate once again our 2 awardees for their brilliant work.
